Master of Business Administration
Entrance/Admissions Requirements
Students applying for admission to the Master of Business Administration at UNAD must hold a Bachelor’s degree. In order to be admitted to this post-graduate Program, prospective students must: (1) Request official academic transcripts from the college or university from which they received their Bachelor’s degree. Transcripts are to be mailed directly to UNAD Florida, (2). Submit an Application for Admission form, (3) Submit a completed and signed Enrollment Agreement, and (4) Take UNAD Florida’s English Placement Test to determine language proficiency. (The English Placement test is a requirement for admission, and determines whether (i) the student can enroll in the required not-for-credit COM 121 English Composition II (minimum test score 95% plus verbal and written test), or (ii) the student needs to enroll in not-for-credit, preparatory English courses.
Program Objective
The objective of the Master of Business Administration is to foster business insight, managerial skills, effective leadership, and intellectual curiosity through high-quality instruction and research.
Program Description
The MBA program develops students' expertise in technical areas of business as well as their managerial competence, and helps them learn how to integrate the two in order to become effective leaders within organizations. The underlying theme within the program is an understanding of the challenges and opportunities of the global environment.
