Undergraduate Programs Admissions Process
UNAD Florida strives to give all its students the opportunity to acquire an education beyond high school. UNAD Florida does not have an age limit or floor; however, admissions to all undergraduate programs are only open to students with a High School diploma or G.E.D recipients. Admissions are also open to students transferring from another college or university that is properly accredited by an agency recognized by the Department of Education or CHEA. In both cases, the official transcript is required. A recommendation letter speaking of the student’s character and achievements is also required. A student's occupation will not prevent him/her from enrolling, as long as it is legal to perform under Federal law in the United States of America.

In order to be admitted to an undergraduate course of study, prospective students must:
1. Request official academic transcripts from their high school, or, in the case of transfer students, from all their previous colleges or universities.
Applicants are responsible for initiating the request(s) for transcripts, and for verifying that they are sent to UNAD Florida. Transcripts must be received prior to the start of the term for which they are admitted.
Transcripts are to be mailed directly to
UNAD Florida.

2. Take UNAD Florida’s English Test to determine language proficiency. (The English Test is not a requirement for admission, but determines whether (i) the student can enroll in the required, for-credit class English Composition II (COM121), or (ii) the student needs to enroll in not-for-credit, preparatory English courses.
Returning students who have not attended UNAD Florida for over one year must resubmit an Application to Admission form in order to update personal information and verify educational goals. If the student has attended another institution in the interim period, an official transcript must be submitted from that college or university. The applicant must be in good academic standing at the last college attended at the time of re-entry.
