No, you don’t need a Social Security number in order to study at UNAD Florida.
3. Are the classes conducted in Spanish or in English?
Classes are conducted in English with fully bilingual support.
4. Do you have any financial aid?
No, at the moment we don’t offer any financial help.
5. How much does the program cost?

6. If I started a program at another university, can I transfer to UNAD Florida to complete my bachelor’s degree?
Yes, we will accept credits approved by other recognized universities, following revision by the Academic Dean. Official transcripts must be submitted for review and homologation. In order to obtain a degree from UNAD Florida, no less than 50% of the credits required for obtaining a degree in a given program must be taken at UNAD.
7. Do I have to know English in order to study at UNAD Florida?
The more English you know, the better. However, at UNAD Florida we offer non-credit, preparatory English classes. As soon as you register you need to take UNAD Florida’s English Placement Test to determine your language proficiency. (The English Placement test is not a requirement for admission, but determines whether (i) the student can enroll in the required, for-credit class English Composition II (COM121), or (ii) the student needs to enroll in not-for-credit, preparatory English courses.
8. How do I transfer from UNAD Florida to another institution?
The acceptance of the transfer of credit to another college or university is at the discretion of the transferring school.
